So I come in to work today and hello Mr Boss man. We got a new patch. (I'm a software tester...woo exciting not really). Ok let me load that up. While I'm waiting for my computer to re-image (wiping it clean and re-installing windows) I'm sitting here surfing the web. I get an e-mail from my boss.
It's a meeting request that I'm required to go to....ooook. No prob, what's the meeting for? A webinar (web seminar...dumb name I know) for TestComplete Power User Extensions. Let me explain. TestComplete is an automated test tool that I've been trying to get our group to use for about 4 months. "It's too expensive" ($4500 per license, but we only need 1). It would cut down our testing time in half. ANYWHO....I haven't seen the program at all....so OF COURSE it makes sense to get training on the extensions of the program. HELLO? I don't even know how the program works....
So I'm mildly annoyed now cause the training is on a friday, late afternoon. BOOOO.
